Riddle Fence is thrilled to welcome Robin Durnford as our new Poetry Editor!
Robin was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and grew up on the west coast of the island. She earned a PhD in English Literature from The University of Alberta. Her poetry books include A Lovely Gutting(McGill-Queen’s 2012), shortlisted for the 2013 Writer’s Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Heritage and History Award (Poetry Category); Fog of the Outport(Jackpine 2013), subject of a CBC documentary (2014); Half Rock(Gaspereau 2016), shortlisted for the E.J. Pratt Poetry Award (2017); and the forthcoming Gap Tooth(Gaspereau 2020). She has also published poetry in Vallum, CV2,Geist, among others, and creative non-fiction in Grain. She was a 2016 writer-in-residence at the Heinrich Böll Cottage on Achill Island, Ireland. She is currently based in Montreal.
