SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Entries must be original and unpublished elsewhere. No simultaneous submissions and no previously published (or accepted for publication) submissions.

Judging for the contest is blind. Do not identify yourself on your actual submission.

All entries must be submitted by mail and postmarked by 1 October.

Word-processed or typed text entries only. Highest possible dpi. 

Please keep a copy of your entry/artwork; entries will not be returned even if accompanied by a SASE.

One short-fiction submission is one story.

One poetry submission is up to 3 poems; no more than 100 lines per poem.

One visual art submission is one piece of artwork.

An entry consists of one submission in one genre.

Entry Fee: $25 for an entry from Canada, $30 US and$45 for an entry from elsewhere in the world.

Online submissions purchased at riddlefence.com must be emailed to riddlefencecontest@gmail.com

The entry fee includes a one-year subscription to Riddle Fence.

Multiple entries are allowed; however, each entry must be accompanied by its own cover page and entry fee.

Cheque or money orders should be made payable to Riddle Fence.

Contest winners and honourable mentions will be contacted directly (by either email or telephone). Other entrants are not directly contacted about the results.

The winning entries and honourable mentions are published in Riddle Fence.
